IBM Lotus Forms Turbo

Lotus Forms Turbo is a new addition to the Lotus Forms family of products. Included in Lotus Forms and available as a stand-alone product, Lotus Forms Turbo has been developed to help non-technical users to quickly create web-based eForms. Lotus Forms Turbo is easy and quick to deploy requires no training and is designed to help customers address basic form software requirements such as surveys, applications, feedback, orders, request for submission, and more – without involvement from the IT department.

Beginners can compose and distribute eForms then analyze results with the Lotus Forms Turbo module. In less than 15 minutes, employees in any department can create a wide range of eForms such as surveys, application forms, order forms, and customer feedback forms — without training or the help of the IT department. Lotus Forms now comes with a variety of sample eForm templates and demos to help users of all skill levels create get up and running quickly with their eForm implementations.

Licensing Options

Lotus Forms Turbo is licensed for operation on a 20 user license pack or Value Unit basis.

Software and Operating System Requirements

Supported server operating systems include Microsoft Windows 2003 Standard and Enterprise Editions (32-bit version only), AIX Versions 5.3 and 6.1, Red Hat Linux 5.1 Enterprise Server, and SUSE Linux 10 Enterprise Edition.

Supported end user operating systems include Microsoft Windows XP SP2 and Vista. Supported browsers include Internet Explorer 6 and 7 and Firefox 2 and 3.

Hardware Requirements

Processor, memory and hardware requirements
Lotus Forms Turbo (server) requires a computer with a minimum 3 GHz CPU, 4 GB RAM, and a display with 1024 x 768 in 16-bit color
Lotus Forms Turbo (end user) requires a computer with a minimum 500 MHz CPU, 256 MB RAM, and a display with 1024 x 768 in 16-bit color
Disk space requirements
Lotus Forms Turbo (server) requires 100 MB disk space
